Our Career Programme Team

The Career Programme Team is made up of:

In addition to these named staff, the following groups of staff contribute to the Career Programme:

  • all teachers are expected to provide Career Education as part of their teaching in all subjects.
  • All tutor team staff are expected to provide up to date and relevant Career Information and Career Advice.

As Career Leader, Rob Cooper is the strategic leader for the Career Programme. He is also the school’s qualified and Registered Career Development Professional (RCDP). As Career Coordinator, Carmen Blades is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Career Programme. As Post-16 Off-site Education Support Worker, Charlie Scott is responsible for finding, organising and supporting Experience of Work, Work Experience and Work Placements for Post-16 students on the College Ready and Work Ready pathways. As Preparing for Adulthood (P4A) subject lead, Daniella Stanton is responsible for planning Careers Education lessons delivered within the P4A curriculum. As Essential Skills Ambassador, Nathan James is responsible for leading the school towards the Gold Award as part of the school’s commitment to the Skills Builder Accelerator Programme. Our Enterprise Co-Ordinator is Nacho Galvez. Nacho works for the LLEP. The Enterprise Co-Ordinator provides support for schools in meeting the Gatsby Benchmarks and is our point of contact with the LLEP

Our Enterprise Advisor is Ben Wilson. Ben is a volunteer from business who works directly with the school’s leadership team to develop effective employer engagement plans to support schools in their careers advice and careers planning for young people.
