Here at Maplewell Hall School, we are following all the advice given by Leicestershire County Council’s Public Health team and the Department for Education (DfE).
In addition, we have made the following decisions in the best interests of students, staff and visitors:
- We will NOT be allowing visitors or parents/carers into the school building unless absolutely essential
- Taxi/bus drivers, escorts, and parents/carers, will NOT be permitted to enter the school building
- School staff will bring students to parent’s/carer’s vehicles at the end of the school day
- Maplewell will NOT be taking part in any off-site activities
- AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS and EXTRA TUITION will be CANCELLED. All students are to go home by 3.30pm
- Students will be washing their hands on a regular basis throughout the school day.
For more detailed information and advice on the above, we will be updating our NEWS PAGE on a regular basis, as well as using WEDUC.
Please see below the latest we have received from the DfE, with a dedicated helpline and helpful website links.
