As part of our Wednesday night residential session, a group of pupils have chosen gardening as their activity. This is a great activity to help them understand how to grow plants from seeds, as well as helping the pupils to develop a great sense of pride for our school environment.
As you will be aware, we have many garden areas across the school and this project will be long term. We were hoping that you may have some spare seeds to plant, plus any donations of pre-potted or extra plants you may not have space for at home! We are beginning the project in the allotment area and have ample space ready to grow vegetables and fruits.
We are here Wednesdays after school, if you have any plants you wish to donate, unless you ask your child’s transport arrangement if they are able to bring into school for you. Any packets of seeds can easily be brought in via the school transport and left at reception for us to collect.
Anything that you can help us with will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks for your continued support.
