School assembly time is an important aspect of the school week here at Maplewell Hall School.

It is a chance to further nurture our positive school ethos and celebrate achievements both academic and extracurricular. This chance to gather as a whole school or as the separate Key Stages is valuable to time to discuss world issues, topical events and expectations.

Tutor teams have the chance to do assembly’s which is a further chance that Maplewell Hall School provides to showcase and celebrate pupil achievements. Our pupils enter assembly to Mozart’s K488 sonata for two pianos, as research has shown that regular exposure to this piece can amongst other things, have beneficial effects for spatial awareness and reasoning skills.
